Hi everyone! It is starting getting cold now. It is even raining here right now, but I still consider it as a nice and blessed day to live because I am still alive. By the way, I want to share this wonderful email we got from our friend about "House For Sale." You will surely love it because it is so inspiring. Scam Warning!!!

I got a mail yesterday from Amba Research & Management Corp. I was surprised because it is a job offer to be a secret shopper. Then I noticed that there's a Customer Service Evaluation Form (CSEF), and a check amounting to $2,485.00 together with the mail. I said "Wow!" that's pretty cool. But I was asking myself why the company is sending me such check when I haven't started working for them yet. The more I wondered when I've read on the letter the task I need to do on how I will spend the money from such check. I also noticed that the mail stamp has "Canada 98" on it but the company's address is in New York, New York. The check is from American Savings Bank with P.O. Box 2300, Honolulu, Hawaii 96804-2300. It said it is a Cashier's Check from Alvin McDonald, and the signature is different. These things gave me a hint that it might be a scam because I have received few mails with checks before that turned out to be scams. So I searched for such company through Google and I found out that it is a scam. The scariest thing to happen if I will deposit the check is either the bank personnel will notice that it is a fake check and call the police, therefore risking myself to get arrested even I am innocent and a victim. Another way is if the bank personnel will not notice it as a fake check, and will credit the amount to my bank account. Then after few weeks, the bank will find out that it is a fake account, therefore I will definitely have to pay it back to the bank. So I will be in big trouble if I already spent the money by following the instructions given on the letter before the bank caught it as a fake one. One task listed on the letter is to send $1,950.00 to another secret shopper through Western Union plus paying $135.00 for the fee. Once the receiver claimed the money you sent through Western Union, there's nothing you can do about it to track down the person who got it. So, I will end up owing the bank for such amount. There's no way for me to get back the money I sent through Western Union. I always thank God for protecting me from such trouble. Therefore, I felt I have to share this to make it as a warning to other people since there are lots of scams online and even through mails. So I highly recommend that we must be vigilant and always do anything we can to protect ourselves from getting scammed.

A story of a girl.

"When I was a little girl, my mom liked to make breakfast food for dinner every now and then. And I remember one night in particular when she had made breakfast after a long, hard day at work. On that evening so long ago, my mom placed a plate of eggs, sausage, and extremely burned toast in front of my dad. I remember waiting to see if anyone noticed! Yet all my dad did was reach for his toast, smile at my mom, and ask me how my day was at school. I don't remember what I told him that night, but I do remember watching him smear butter and jelly on that toast and eat every bite!

When I got Up from the table that evening, I remember hearing my mom apologize to my dad for burning the toast. And I'll never forget what he said: 'Baby, I love burned toast.'

Later that night, I went to kiss Daddy good night and I asked him if he really liked his toast burned. He wrapped me in his arms and said, 'Debbie, your Momma put in a hard day at work today and she's real tired. And besides-a little burnt toast never hurt anyone!' You know, life is full of imperfect things.....and imperfect people. I'm not the best housekeeper or cook.

What I've learned over the years is that learning to accept each other's faults - and choosing to celebrate each other's differences - is the one of the most important keys to creating a healthy, growing, and lasting relationship.

And that's my prayer for you today. That you will learn to take the good, the bad, and the ugly parts of your life and lay them at the feet of GOD. Because in the end, He's the only One who will be able to give you a relationship where burnt toast isn't a deal-breaker! I HAVE A GREAT TESTIMONY ON HOW I ACCEPTED JESUS CHRIST AS MY LORD AND SAVIOR. HOPE IT WILL BLESS ALL OF YOU WHO WILL READ THIS. MY PARENTS TOLD ME ABOUT THIS AMAZING STORY OF MINE COZ I WAS STILL A BABY WHEN IT HAPPENED TO ME. I THINK I WAS FIVE OR SIX YEARS OLD WHEN I HEARD ABOUT IT. SINCE THEN I ALWAYS HAVE THE HEART TO SERVE OUR ALMIGHTY GOD. MY PARENTS TOLD ME THAT I WAS A CRYING BABY, I LOVED TO CRY NON-STOP :) SO WHEN I WAS JUST A NINE (9) MONTH OLD BABY, I WAS HOSPITALIZED COZ I HAD THE HARD TIME BREATHING. WHEN I WAS AT THE HOSPITAL, THE DOCTORS&NURSES TRIED TO DO ALL THE TESTINGS THEY CAN TO FIGURE IT OUT WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME. THEY HAD INJECTED ON ANY PART OF MY BODY TRYING TO GET SOME FLUID OR BLOOD FROM ME OR GAVE ME SOME MEDICINES WHICH CAUSED LOTS OF BRUISES ON MY BODY. MY PARENTS ALWAYS CRIED EVERYTIME THEY LOOKED AT ME COZ AT SUCH TENDER AGE MY BODY EXPERIENCED SUCH TRAUMA. THEY EVEN TOLD ME THAT EVERYTIME I SAW SOMEBODY COMING INSIDE MY ROOM WHO WORE WHITE CLOTHES, I STARTED CRYING MAYBE FOR THE REASON THAT THE DOCTORS AND NURSES WHO ATTENDED ME THAT TIME ALWAYS WORE WHITE CLOTHES AS THEIR UNIFORMS. THE DOCTORS ATTENDING ME FINALLY DID SOMETHING ON MY NECK WHEREIN THEY OPENED AND PUT A TUBE ON IT (I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS THAT PROCESS CALLED) WHICH I COULD STILL SEE THE SCAR ON MY NECK TILL NOW. UNTIL ONE DAY MY WHOLE BODY COULDN'T BEAR THE PAINS AND SUFFERINGS SO IT GAVE UP AND I WAS DEAD FOR FEW SECONDS. GOD IS SO GREAT AND AWESOME COZ HE USED ONE DOCTOR TO REVIVE ME TO LIFE WHICH IS THE REASON I HAVE THIS OPPORTUNITY NOW TO SHARE TO ALL OF YOU THIS EXPERIENCE OF MINE. HONESTLY, UNTIL NOW I HAVE FEAR OF INJECTIONS. LIKE WHAT I SAID I ALWAYS HAVE THE HEART TO SERVE GOD WHEN I HEARD ABOUT THIS AWESOME EXPERIENCE OF MINE. SO WHEN I WAS STILL SINGLE, I HAD THE CHANCE TO BE A SMALL GROUP LEADER FOR YOUTH IN OUR CHURCH, PRAISE TEAM AND CHOIR MEMBER, SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER, ONE OF THE CHURCH LEADERS HANDLING THE FINANCIAL MATTER, SUNDAY GREETER, WORSHIP LEADER AND ONE OF THE CHURCH PROGRAM ORGANIZERS. RIGHT NOW I AM INVOLVED AS ONE OF THE BACK-UP VOCALS IN OUR CHURCH. IT'S ALWAYS REWARDING FOR ME TO BE PART OF ANY CHURCH MINISTRY. ARE YOU BLESSED BY MY STORY?
