MY FIRST JOB INTERVIEW

Hi everyone. I would like to share with you my first job interview.

I found this job opening online so I emailed my resume. After two days I got a call from such company for job interview. I made an appointment for 6:15pm because it's just near to my work and I usually got off from work at 5:30pm. My husband picked me up and we ate first before we went to the interview. As usual, my husband was just waiting for me at our car while I got inside. Honestly I don't like job interviews because I am a person who easily gets nervous even with simple questions. So I whispered a prayer that I will not get nervous and the interview will go just fine before I went inside the office. I talked to the receptionist and she told me to fill out their application form even I already submitted my resume through email. So I went to our car and grabbed my resume because I can't remember most of the informations there especially phone numbers and addresses of my references (I think they called it age thing..lol ). While I filled out the form, there's another Filipina who was also filling out such form because she's also applying for such job too. Then the receptionist called me in. The interviewer was already waiting for me inside her office and we introduced ourselves. She started telling me about the job and the hours of work. I was a little hesitant about the odd hours of work. So I was just honest to her and told her that I don't know how to drive so I need to talk to my husband about the hours of work since it's 30 miles away from our house. During weekdays, three days of work would be from 2-7pm and two days would be 8am-1pm as well as there's also Saturday work from 9am-2pm. I didn't have problem with the job because it sounded exciting and fun but I did have problem with such odd hours of work because where should I stay before and after my work since my husband will give me a ride going to and from work. His work is from Mondays to Fridays 8am till 5pm. Honestly, I don't know if I made a wrong impression by telling her about my situation as if I didn't sound really interested on such job even I was really interested because she is a very nice person to be a boss. At the end of the interview she told me that she still needed to interview other applicants so I will hear any decision from her by Monday. I didn't hear anything from her by that day so it means I didn't make it. Sad to know but that's how it is with finding a job, one will be hired and the rest will not. It happened on this job, I belonged to the rest who didn't make it. So I will keep searching till I will find the best one right? Godbless !!
